Well does not sound like much has changed as it appears these two are Bridgeport bound at best.

Cory Schneider returning to the NY Islanders organization; will work at Bridgeport.

Ryan O'Reilly and Vladimir Tarasenko...What would you give up to grab both of these players? Would you go all in for a shot at the title? Would getting these put the Isles over the edge?

Don’t think Armstrong is moving either Tank or O’reilly. Gotta think he will let the season play out and see where they are before trading either player.
If they are in contention then Armstrong may have to bite the bullet and let the season play out and get nothing for Tank. If they are not in contention then certainly Tank will go at latest at the deadline. If O’Reilly wants to stay in St Louis he’s going to have to give the Blues a discount or it will be his last season in a Blues sweater as well. Just my opinion of course but it will be hard to get the same production back trading either of those guys.

This is not a surprise and they may not be ready at this point. Hopefully the team does well and there is not a need to call them up this year.

There is ZERO shot we are giving up Wahlstrom, Raty and picks for a guy who is a UFA next summer.

This is the team... let it go.

Too bad in a way, but you always knew that Z would be going in to the HOF as a Bruin, the only team with whom he won a Cup. Nevertheless, it would have been nice if the Islanders were the bookends of his NHL career.

I was expecting you to mention Z and the Rangers. Our luck he would find his game with the Rangers.

Salo is 24.. so what is the age cut off for "Prospects"? I would have thought it was anyone who hasn't played their rookie year in NHL.. but what do I know.
