1. Could the Ottawa Senators make the playoffs for the first time since 2017?
Like that it's question #1

Don't you feel like nothing is guaranteed about the Sens making the playoffs?
Every team (well close to every team) in the Atlantic is really good
Less Montreal/Buffalo/Detroit, the division has a lot of high-end talent
Even the Red Wings figure to be much-improved this year
The Sabres will probably be better too
Essentially every team will be a tough play, with the exception of Montreal
You have to think the Sens will need to really play well to have a shot
Outside of some crazy injuries or something, it'll be a dogfight
Upside, for the Sens, is that they've also improved
Reasonable to expect that TBL/FLA/TOR will take the top-3 spots
And if Boston can survive without a few high-end players early in the year, they'll be a tough out
Can't expect any of those teams not to do what they've done for the last few years
Cam Talbot was a good addition in net however
Opposite Forsberg, the Sens will have greatly improved at goaltender
Under the tutelage of DJ Smith they will certainly have good leadership
Not to be negative, but despite all that I think playoffs are still a long-shot
The end
