Like Allison's game.
Praying to every God he can stay healthy and put together an 82 game season.

Allison will be 25 in two weeks. It’s now or never.

4 goals in 3 games. That’ll be about the scoring rate this year #>200 |

Exactly what we want, no?
Ratcliffe, going to be hard, he is not making a case to stay and I can see Hextall grabbing him. |

Another 3-1 loss. As I mentioned, get used to this score and result because I think we will see this a lot this season. I really liked Allison tonight, skated hard, hit hard, and generated offense. I really hated Risto tonight. It looked like he was in mid-season form already which is NOT a good thing. What was most disappointing about his game besides that he couldn't keep the puck in the offensive zone on that 3rd Caps goal, was is penalty killing. For all his faults, Risto should be a good penalty killer for the Flyers, but all last season and last night, he just stinks on the PK. He just stands there! Doesn't move, doesn't have an active stick, consistently screens his goalie. If this guy can't even kill penalties, the Flyers are truly hosed for the next 5 years, in which I retort: Thanks Chuck! |

Agreed, he looked lost out there to me which should not be the case at this point in his career. |

I can't as they have better options. They are trying to win a cup no time for Isaac.

I see that Jackson and Jones get the memo about making sure to hype the nd signing - corduroy
He did a great job last night. See that image of him getting face washed was excellent.

I was able to see most of the second and third periods, and I thought this game was an absolute clunker. Most of the second period looked like the Caps were on the PP. Even homer Jackson said that it looked like the Caps were on the PP when they weren't. Terrible decisions with the puck in the neutral zone and terrible passing, and then getting hemmed in their own zone for long periods at a time. Does any of this sound familiar? Thought so... I inferred from the way you said it, they lost 3-1 in a pre-season game this year.
Arm Chair GM's need to calm down about the preseason scores. |

I thought last night was an abomination and shows the lack of depth this organization has. I thought Allison was the only one that stood out, but I also saw why he gets injured all the time. He plays with reckless abandon and seems out of control most of the time. He needs to find a way to temper that or he ain't going to be around long. FIRE CHUCK! Thanks! |

No idea what Ristolainen was doing on that turnover leading to the third goal. Still in shock Chuck gave up multiple picks and $5 mil against the cap for this guy. |
|

|
I imagine big cuts coming today, getting that camp roster down around 40.

Provorov did not look like the best overall D on the roster last night. Or last season. And Risto had two horrible turnovers along the wall, continuing his career long habit of making egregious unforced errors.
I actually think the best way to set up the D would be
Sanheim-DeAngelo
Provorov-Braun
York-Risto |

Pairings based largely on one single preseason game would be a big mistake.
