Goal tenders are locked in for tonight. The starting line ups should prove interesting.

Score predictions?

I would assume it’ll be something close to opening night lineup considering it’s our last preseason game.

Regardless if you think he’s a #1 center or not the NY Islanders needed to keep him.
Yes, I have too agree with you on this.

Didn’t you say you were concerned he was going to leave for nothing if Lou ( who’s magical ) didn’t get a wing to play with him? I believe you did. So that said you can’t have it both ways. Tying Barzal up long term and taking UFA away from him it’s going to be cheaper in the long run.
I probably did. However, my point was if you are going to make him the #1, get him the resources to be successful.

The logic on the monies makes sense. I just do not think he is going to be the guy you want him to be. I hope I am wrong because that means the boys are winning.

Fair. I think Barzal needs to make others around him better. That’s the next step on top of keeping the TO and dumb plays to a minimum. He does that I have no doubts he will become the star player we all know he can be. I agree that the Islanders need him to play well to be successful which I think will happen.

If coaching breaks free of the Trotz defensive style Barzal can flourish along with others. The line up is strong and I still think Lou has something coming.

Looking forward to this season. Look much better past few games than earlier in preseason. Cautiously optimistic. But feeling good about this group and coaches.

I’m with you Streaks. No 4th line this game and Bellows instead of Wahlstrom so this team is ready. sOrOkin was awesome.

When Shannon was going to interview Lamoriello between periods the closed caption on the TV in the bar tonight spelled his name as Luan Morriello. That's how I'm going to refer to him from now on.
