Johnny Boychuk in his prime could deliver some nice hits, but we didn't get him until late in his career.

Wonder if Koivula and/or Hutton get claimed off waivers today. Doubtful given that everyone is cutting players, not adding, but they'd be decent bets for lower end teams

Cap space is so valuable now even for these lower end teams especially because they can sell it off for assets I doubt it. Maybe koivula not because he’s great or anything but more due to his age and potential upside.

Still no Cal Clutterbuck or Scott Mayfield as #Isles practice.

Oliver Wahlstrom one of the first players on the ice but he and Otto Koivula only forwards wearing gray (as extra forwards).

Koivula, Hutton and LaDue, all on waivers yesterday, on ice today.

No Ross Johnston, too.

Curious to see who is in the lineup between bellows and Wahlstrom opening night. Wahlstrom has a pretty lackluster preseason. Bellows as well for the most part but he had a pretty good game against the rangers…. This is of course with the mind set that Wahlstrom is even ready to go Thursday.
