Is a good question. Who knows, maybe he was encouraged and wanted to see a little more.....maybe they thought there was a better chance Zac would get claimed on waivers and free up the money/roster spot.

Jackson cates now up, but our depth is looking a bit bleak with these injuries already.

My cable bill is outrageous. How about yours? I pay extra for the sports package. Why should I expect to watch a Flyers game?

Another reason why stats do not tell the whole story. With Owen Tippet getting injured and Torts seeing Hogson struggling, Torts shortened the bench to only 10 forwards. So naturally as the game went along the Flyers were tired and the Devils took over. Burying your head in the stat sheet tells you the Flyers lost the possession battle and gave up lots of shot attempts. However watching the game and more importantly knowing the circumstances of the game is far more valuable and accurate when assessing the performance of the team!

This is a good thing! Chuck and Lappy leave lots to be desired. Time for a new voice! If guys don't play the way Torts wants them to he will protest and those protests will only get louder as he gets more comfortable here!

I was thinking the same thing, and that came across also in episode 4 if the standard. You can start to see how woeful the flyers staff was in evaluating players before Torts arrived!
