Well, I'd like to see a season under his belt first

I would too, but also if he continues this all year what's that number look like as opposed to potentially getting him extended early.
I've seen enough of him to make the gamble, his poise, confidence, positioning, reactions... All what you want to see in a starter in my opinion.
But also, doubt Sammy takes the bait. He signed here specifically to increase his value. He's not gonna cash out on that early. |

While they haven't done much directly except take penalties, I think they played a little move brave with Simmonds and Clifford in the lineup.
And I don't mind shortening the bench as Keefe's been doing: sit those guys, Kampf up with Kerfoot, much better shutdown line with scoring. |
