Dude, I'm not 100% sure he wants to be here, even if he insists he does. He plays like he doesn't want to get injured. He lets in one questionable goal a game. The Hagel goal in the Tampa game and in today's Vegas game he let Stephensen beat him 5-hole from right in front. No fake or anything.

This is a good season to tank. Though the team should be more competitive than this. Arizona is still worse.

They need someone to come in and scare the kids. I was hoping they could over-pay Trotz to do it but he seems like he has his heart set on Toronto. Don't know who else would make a difference.

I'd say tank and load up on some high end talent in a deep draft. I've been saying Gibson is way overrated and should have been traded due to his age and perceived value. At this point not sure you guys could unload him even if you wanted to. On track for four straight subpar seasons. He used to be excellent.

The tanking won't be a problem. The defense is sooo bad I'm not sure how they'll win another game. And if your name isn't Terry, Zegras or Vetrano you're not scoring any goals either. I seriously can see them threatening to break Buffalo's streak of 18 straight losses in a row. They play the Blackhawks and the Redwings at home in that time span so MAYBE they can squeak out a win in one of those but I wouldn't bet on it.

There is simply no way this can be allowed to continue.. Ponda will be empty. The team is not competitive ... it's obvious to anyone with a iota of hockey knowledge that Eakins is lost. He cannot translate X/O's effectively to the ice.

His roster decisions are mind numbingly stupid. Just stupid. Cannot with a straight face justify scratching PV ..AGAIN .. and yet Grant plays. Krappenkirk is skating turnover. And yet he's not a scratch.. Eakins is Ass.

Now Drysdale is toast for at least a month. Verbeek better get on the ball.
