I know this sounds like "No way !", but after watching the last several games I don't know that there's a winnable game in November.
The BlueJackets look so disorganized on the ice. Not moving or playing as a team, always chasing the puck. When they do hold possession of the puck for some time it almost appears to be accidental.
The D seldom moves opposing players out of the front of the goalie, and seems like the other team is ever-present unchecked on the net's back door !! Yet we don't have a player parked there to tap in a goal.
They have the puck between the dots, but don't shoot, looking to pass off, or dump it somewhere the other team can take it.
Larsen just doesn't have the chops to be a head coach . . . and he was questionable as an assistant.
The players don't have a high GAF.
At this point it might be better to send the kids back to Cleveland so they don't become infected with this malaise that's running through the team now. |
