Just looked at his stats, how the (frank) did he get that contract? He is basically Jeff Petry a bit bigger and a better shot but similar stats
- Symba007

oh, he doesn't have a better shot than Petry's. His shot is pretty ordinary for a guy who should be able to generate leverage at his size.

IDK how he got that contract but Bowman isn't the only GM to be fooled by Jones. He looks like he should be a star but he isn't.

for sure. they might want to block more shots though, and shoot more on the opposing netminder...

We must be due for a make up call from the ref ... the last penalty call on Guhle was questionable as (frank).

The team with the puck usually forces the other to take penalties, that’s the case tonight. Detroit generates more pressure than MTL does. Habs are a mess in their zone

You mean avoiding going near a Red Wings player? They fall down as if they had rubber legs.

I won't even mention the free penalty shot they got even if the Wings player had a clean breakaway from center ice.

Maybe but the refs have 1-2 seconds to make the decision to call it or not, they didn’t see 3 replays on slow motion like we do.

apparently the breakaway chance does not cancel the slashing/penalty shot.

he was at least aware enough to clamp his own hand on it and skate to the bench and looked like he was yelling the whole way. good thing is they brought the stretcher out but it returned without him. so maybe its isn't as bad as it could be.

I don't think a stretcher would help for this kind of situation anyway

Yeah I know, I don't usually go after the refs but damn ... tonight it's a bit much.
