The 2nd and 3rd were obvious.. The first one, Bastian is preventing Murray from getting his leg out, maybe he doesn't stop it and it still goes in, but there's no doubt that Bastian interferes with Murray

Up to interpretation, I guess.

I thought the first one was classic goalie interference as per their rules - were you in the blue paint unobstructed and did your presence prevent the goalie from moving? It doesn't matter if the goalie had no chance at the shot or not - the fact is that Bastian's presence stopped Murray from moving and that's enough.

The second one, I think you knock the goalie over outside of the crease, it should have been a penalty, not just a disallowed goal.

But I disagree about the kicked in goal. They have been so inconsistent with what a distinct kicking motion is in the NHL that to me that was probably a good goal. It deflected off of his turned skate and into his other skate and into the net. There's no doubt he was trying to deflect it off of the right skate, but I believe the intent was to deflect it to his stick, but it got his other skate and went in . . . I don't think there was any distinct kicking motion on the goal at all.

I mean . . . (frank) Jersey and all, you know - but I don't know about that third disallowed goal.

Edit: I just rewatched this, perhaps slightly more sober than I was last night, and it's sort of a pretty obvious kick.

That should of been a 2 minute delay of games penalty towards NJD.
