The PP is crazy. Their postures look defeated when it starts. There's no urgency to it all and you get the feeling they're more worried about being scored on than scoring themselves. Zero swagger or confidence from that first unit. I do think they can turn it around though.

Tough matchup tomorrow night.

Easiest move right now. Drop Rust off PP1 for Rakkel.

Rik seems to be one of the only players on the team that won't pass just cause of who he is on the ice with. He's got the best wrist shot on the team and is a right handed.

Nice to see Jake get a non empty net goal, been almost a month. Hopefully he heats up, it would help a lot.

Sid scoring has been awesome. He uses up a ton of energy in our zone just to get the puck out I'm surprised he has any left to play in the Off zone.

Saying Jeff Carter made the biggest mistake on this play is comical. Carter was wide open with no one within 15 feet of him when Rust pulled up by the bench, all he had to do was dump it to open ice and let Carter skate into it, instead he tried to hold onto it, got butt effed into the boards, and gave up a 2 on 0. Trying to blame Carter for this is comically bad.

Not to mention he literally raises his stick up which looks like a sign that he's calling for the puck.

Rust just stopped.

He gets hit, gets right back up, looks around and sees no arm in the air and then just stands there like he dropped his coffee.

All of what RW said about Carter applies to Rust. Loose sight of the puck? cheat back to the defensive side.

Rust had to stop because Petry was in his way, I get that, but the second you stop and see 2 of your own guys in front of you, gotta take a look around and recognize Carter has no one around him and like I edited to, Carter had his stick in the air and was likely calling for the puck.

Regardless of who was where, Once Rusty realized he wasn't getting the call he needed to get back in the play defensively. He just stood there like an idiot.

Yeah, skating the puck into the line change and falling down is definitely the play to do there by Rust. Petry getting tangled up in the mess is also the right play. Carter however, ah yes. It’s Carters fault.

Sidney Crosby excels at every offensive aspect of the game.

That said, any chart that tells me that Peter Bondra is a better goal scorer than Mike Bossy and Guy LaFleur is laughable.

Holy crap that's awful. Apparently he's not suffering any long-term effects but man that's scary.
