Bill, I echo the above comment. This team is at one of its lowest points in franchise history. There seems to be no way out with the current ownership and management but you still find a way to keep your articles positive.

This is a revenge game for NJ. I have a feeling this one's going to be ugly.

The top 5 to 6 prospects looks really strong. Very confident the Flyers still on track to be top 3. ANA and CHI have the ability to out suck the Flyers. Just be a little patient as the Flyers steadily drop in the standings. The top.5 in this upcoming draft is so much stronger then the Gauthier draft.

I’ve read that that Russian kid might actually be the best player in the draft. Projected likely to be the 3rd pick at this point. With all the political turmoil in Russia and I think he’s under contract in the KHL until like 2025 or something, he’s definitely a huge risk. However, apparently he may be worth the risk so a top 3-5 might still be really awesome as opposed to Bedard. But I don’t really follow the draftees other than reading about them.

Read the same thing about Michkov. I just get the sense the quality of the top 5 this year is so much higher then last season. No need for moral victories this season. Could care less about player development on the team or in LV. At best, any of these guys top out as good NHL players. Top 5 in this draft gets a team a shot at elite talent. Need some elite talent.

Hit on both #1 picks, no Mcdavids but some real stellar players. They’ve also just drafted well in general the past 5 years outside of those two. Turned Ty smith into Marino (thanks Hexy)
