Why not?
Draft D. - IonSabres
The kids honestly have shown they are ready. (As a collective group). Like Krebs and others have ways to go.
But in general we have the highest scoring offense in the league. You can’t ask for anything more other than wins.
Try to win now without sacrificing the farm.
Add a defensemen to push Lybuskin / joker down the depth chart.
And hope and pray Comrie UPL step up. Anderson has been okay |

Adams should try to a cheapy. We have 3 2nd round picks this year. We can’t possible draft all 3 with our current 3 1sts - Sabretooth9
Actually might be a good year to have those 2nds, D isn't ranked very highly in this draft. If we finish say with pick 15 to 20 this year is probably a good place for the top ranked Dman to be picked, a lot in the 2nd though |

Unless the board falls in a very strange manner, I'll be mystified if they don't use at least 2 of their top 4 picks on defense. |

Agreed. Unless its for a genuine core piece this could be the year to hold those picks and draft D.

I agree, and they really need to. Weakest part of our organization. Especially if Johnson walks, and that one would hurt. He has turned into a very good 2way Dman. Bonus is he can play both sides very well. |

Every sabres win gets us closer to signing these college kids.
What a different approach, shouldnt have to promise how the team is good bla bla bla.....
These guys can see the progression in the standings |

Yes, I was told he does like what is happening here and knows he has a spot. He just wanted to try and win a Championship. |

UPL will be fine, as I suspect Comrie will be ok as well....by improving the D AND with more Development. Part of what separates CA from the other 2 is CA's on ice / in game communication skills in providing another pair of eyes to help direct the play. There is a stark contrast between CA's HDCA's and those faced by the other 2, I suspect the guidance he provides during the game lends itself to the "calming effect" the players say he has on them. Time and confidence will build that, especially for UPL as he recognizes it already.
The bold I have been calling for 1-1/2 seasons now. |

BPA.
They're assets at this point to acquire what they need going forward.

Any thoughts on how much you like Johnson?
You were pretty excited.
Comrie seams like he's gonna be a team player and accept his rehabilitation to Rochester.
If upl keeps up the good play, I think comries the odd guy out.
