Any thoughts on how much you like Johnson?
You were pretty excited.
Comrie seams like he's gonna be a team player and accept his rehabilitation to Rochester.
If upl keeps up the good play, I think comries the odd guy out. - Boss34
Johnson on 3rd pairing would be unbelieveable. If he can play RhD as effectively, man him and Power in time would push Sammy & Dahlin for 1st pairing...great internal competition.
I suspect Sabres will want to see Comrie play (evaluate) and for UPL to play (development).
If Comrie can come around, and I suspect he will (over time) this season, then IMO it makes sense to send UPL down to play big minutes ... more to Goaltending than merely stopping pucks...as mentioned in a previous post, he can develop his on ice communication skils. |

There's gotta be a practical limit to how many forwards you can draft in a 3 year period, doesn't there?

Well they need to think about that, that's for sure. Just the young age of the team and the amount of Forward prospects coming up. Gonna be hard to evaluate them all now. And they really need to strengthen there D prospects throughout the Organization. Very weak and LD shouldn't be discluded just not as high as RD. |

UPL v Swayman
Makes sense for us. I thought Andy, but forgot tomorrow is Ottawa.
Another chance for UPL to give Adams a tough, tough call. Hold it down against the Bs in the Garden....would be legendary. |

I think nhl defenseman are like offensive linemen in football.
Sure , you draft "cant miss" guys early in the 1st round.
But, it's much easier to sign veteran guys, even if they cost $ on the free market.
Sign guys that "you do not notice" during the game.
Just an opinion |

And these are who we need. The problem with Boosh is we noticed him against Detroit because he made an awful decision and the Wings capitalized on it. There are definitely men out there who could give us 13-15 minutes of cancelation play.

Bruins is always big
Even more so this year with how they are playing, Ullmark having an all-time great season by a goaltender and our turnaround since the 8-game losing streak. If we went .500 instead, we would we right in the thick of the playoff race already.
This game shows if we are for real or not. A 4-1 loss or worse is a bad look. A 3-1 loss with an empty netter, I see it as progress.
A win and I start to get excited. |

Very excited to see Tage and co go against Marchant, Bergeron, and Debrusk. Arguably the two best lines in hockey today.

Imagine a 1984 throwback game. Lol. I don't even know who would fill the fighting roles. Sabre-Bruin games were ridiculous.

I agree.
Problem with boosh, he's kinda like the utility guy on the offensive line. Not sure if he's a full time starter, on a playoff team.
Wonder if he's a trade guy? Clague pushed right past him.
I guess boosh is a good depth guy? |
