One of my friends would fall under this category, he got us tossed from two bars in 5 minutes, didn't even know that was possible. He's not a starting fights type, every other city I've been to has loved him. Ottawa, not so much.

Every big city is dangerous if you find yourself in the wrong areas at the wrong times. Take Ubers or cabs and be mindful of your surroundings. It really isn't that complicated. We stayed a few blocks from Bank St, reminded me of Delaware Ave.

We didn't go there to party it up till the crack of dawn. The dispensary was our first stop, plus they have delivery. My trips involve more day drinking, in bed by 11 or midnight, and up by 8am feeling great.

How is Ottawa for a weekend? One year, I would like to go to Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal for road games. One never hears much about Ottawa as a city to spend a couple days in.

We visited Ottawa about 10 years ago. Actually now that I think about it, watched game 2 of the Sabres-Flyers series from the hotel, so it was actually 11 years ago.

Stayed across the river in Gatineau. Walked around Ottawa and did the whole sightseeing thing. Lots of historic buildings and monuments , kind of like a much smaller DC. Seeing Parliment was pretty cool, as was the science museum. People were friendly on both sides of the river. Definitely an underrated trip.

The first bar was beer related. We left him at the Airbnb and headed to a nice brewery off of Bank St. We had made friends with a few different groups of people and were enjoying a nice nut brown ale, when he came strolling in and cracked open a bottle of moosehead that he brought with him. I'm not sure if he even got a sip in before they tossed him.

Nice to see the young kids in Rochester keep progressing. Both Coaching Staffs are doing a very good job of teaching and developing these kids. It's pretty wild how many are taking that next step. In 2yrs the Sabres are gonna Steam Roll teams. Speed Forecheck and scoring on every line.

That's really the only reason I didn't mention him. Watched a lot of Amerks this year and he is always there, his skating has gotten better the last 2yrs. Just a lot of talent coming
