In any big game with a tight score Dahlin is playing 25 or more. Closer to 30 I'd imagine.

Welp... ive watched three Sens games this year not against Buffalo, and he doesnt really stand out to me as anything. Which doesn't mean much, but when I look at his stats, he doesn't look like an impactful player since he was in Toronto. And, as is known, I'm not nearly as down on Joker as the rest of the board. I think he's fairly good.

I could take him on the team, sure, but he replacing a 3rd pair guy to me. If we're really bringing in a defenseman better than Joker or Clague then it has to be Chychrun to me as far as quality.

There is an ocean of space between say Joker and Chic-fil-a. If you are bringing in Chycrun at $4.5m, it isnt as a 3rd pairing, and he isnt as good on the right to be the 2RhD IMO.
Let us please let go of the Chic idea...especially for the asset cost to acquire.

I hear you but look at Sammy bottom right of that picture. If your partner just pinched on that side you can’t be there. If he stays middle he either breaks up the pass to the rat or it’s a 1 on 1 instead of a breakaway.

I agree there is. If I'm upgrading from Joker...im upgrading. I'm not going hunting for someone who may or may not be an upgrade. I don't want Chychrun anyway because he is too injured over his career, but that is the quality level of upgrade I want if that's what we're doing.

I would he fine getting a 3rd pairing guy for a draft pick or less.
