You don't know this at all, especially Johnson. Ryan has said very positive things about the Org, and he knows the opportunity here for him...at least 3LhD, possibly 2RhD.

Getting another offensive minded Dman for 2RhD isn't necessary. Getting a lockdown D who can also play PK effectively is what I think they need.

Like the Sabres traded for Vesey's rights? That didn't work out so well, I doubt any trade value beats the 2nd rounder they get if he walks to UFA.

Probably hard to change and teach a different playbook this far into a season for a guy like cole. I’d imagine they are slowly adding a few plays and might have to sandbag anything spectacular until the playoffs. Then again it just might be incompetence. Knee jerk for having soo many important drops/fumbles and now they have no idea what to do with the guy.

The way he shoots reminds me of Quinn in that he shoots the puck with authority and with accuracy. I wonder if that is part of what they look for when they draft. I don't think that it is a coincidence that we lead the league in goals but are not at the top of expected goals.
