I once did it to a guy for 11-12 minutes, and he survived.

Just gotta keep getting oxygen to the brain.

Here is my thoughts on this

I think Hamlin died on the field.

The nfl did CPR and AED to try and revive him

They couldn’t and put him on the stretch to the ambulance to get him off the field. So the nfl can say he didn’t die in the field.

The ambulance took 15 minutes longer to leave because they need the moms for legal issues or saying he is legally dead.

Should never have been that long. Was at the Ricoh Centre (where the Marlies play).

Ambulance couldn’t figure out where front entrance was (it’s a weird old building, then they built a convention centre around it).

Was about 16-17 years ago.

Since then, I’ve done my recertification every two years like clockwork.

So, I have heard waaaay 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon that the play resulted in blunt force trauma, which caused a heart attack.

You continue until you are relieved. Maybe I will go to a local volunteer org and recertify. You never know. America has a lot of fat people. There's a reasonable chance i could use it.

It’s no longer a two-day thing.

You can do it in an afternoon, and that includes AED training.

I get that. I’m just saying he needed CPR and AED for 10 minutes. That is not good at all

Small credit to the NFL for canceling the game. Not sure at all the NHL would have. In fact, past precedent says they wouldn't.

Was the NFL going to postpone the game if both coaches didn't get together and decide their respective teams weren't playing?

Per his “friend and marketing rep” on Twitter

His vitals are back to normal and they’ve put him to sleep with a breathing tube to run tests.

Disagree. And it didn't take the NHL an hour

If that's how it played out, Zac Taylor deserves a ton of respect.

As far as timetable...

The NFL is a rather large ship to steer, and the commissioner is not a dictator. They never played another play, and it never appeared they were going to regardless of anything said on any broadcast.

As for the ads etc... i mean, welcome to America. One man's life isn't going to stop TV commercials. Riots in cities and wanton looting sometimes do and sometimes don't. That's not a statement of moral judgment in the least; it is merely an observation.

I'll go as far as to say, with the NFL's media machine, you're going to be told they did a near perfect job with their partner ESPN.

That is actually not good news.

The vitals are normal due to the assisted breathing.

He is only alive because he has assisted breathing. They turn it off. Then…
