Am I allowed to say Medical Professionals are miracle workers or nah? - ImThatGuy
the next miracle will be the first one, so, no.
It reminds me of what someone said about the word "genius". It cheapens the hard work that people had to put in to be what they became. |

I had a thought which shook me a bit. What if this game were in Orchard Park? Would they take him to ECMC or whichever by Mercy Flight (or whatever it's called now)? The hospital in Cincinnati was only 2 miles away. Orchard Park is a bit further out. - buffalofan19
Wait so not all medical facilities are equally good and logistics played a part?
Interesting. |

If you want to devalue their hard work, sure. |

2 spots open without jost, mutts , olo and assplund - Boss34
they like Jost a lot. I can't see him not returning.
If Kev is seeking to be better, he'd be using the latter 3 to do so.
If we're being honest, I think they like Casey too. |

Is Trevor Zegras the most over-hyped player in the league? He became famous for the Michigan stuff, which was fine. Last night he stole a stick from another player (which is a penalty) and for some reason people are that much more shot in the arse with him. |

he's very talented offensively on a poop team. overhyped currently, yeah I'd say so. but he's still good.

(laughing) no, I have read all about father B. Clearly you haven't looked for the simple explanations for the "miracles" associated with him (side note: when did normal people die and get godly powers?). In the distant past they took sick people to the holy men - funny how they don't do that anymore.

John Constantine is holy of sorts. Guy literally rips demons out of people. I saw him do it a few times. Amazing.

Jost makes sense, but doesn't he have a high qualifying offer?
I'm fine with Mitts too. Let him play out the 3rd year of his deal.
The closeness and vibes is gonna leave very few spots open for competition.
Thoughts on okposo and great28?
I see okposo getting a 1 year deal, girgs getting a multi year deal. 🤔 |

I had to look that up. Well played, sir.

That would be great to see him earn a spot here. But in recent years I've moved away from expecting/demanding prospects play NHL minutes. If he's not ready, he's not ready. Neither Quinn nor Peterka were ready last season and that's ok.
I'd like to think they don't give a poop about the slide. It may be a small factor, but they portray themselves to care about their development, solely. - TheSabresTaco
Guess I'm more cynical on it. Watching Krebs stay up last year and Murray get an extended look, while Quinn and JJ barely get a look leaves me with little doubt.
Not looking to rush him either, but he's been extremely impressive for an 18 year old.

I would love for KO to move to a FO/coaching position.
Okposo is no spring chicken anymore and I think his spot would be better served for a younger player (Kulich,Rosen,Ostlund,Savoie) who can play with more speed and match what Buffalo wants to do. |

Krebs should have been sent down as well. Murray isn't really a prospect but one could argue he was more ready for the pro game than some 19 year olds.

I actually think they should try and build a dominant “4th line” like the Islanders had for a few years
Girgensons= Clutterbuck
Krebs = Cizikas
???= Martin
Extend Girgensons, find a solid banger to replace Okposo |

I respect that point of view.
Broads pointed out that okposo is 35.
I still think its really difficult to quit playing a sport you love, when you feel like you have something left.
Especially when the team looks great moving forward and you're the captain. |

Krebs should have been sent as part of a package for Patrick Kane as well. Murray isn't really a prospect but one could argue he was more ready for the pro game than some 19 year olds. - Slump Buster
