The nfl owners should vote against the resolution. Can’t be making poop up last minute. Sets a bad precedence. - TheHank
Isn't anything they do now making it up at the last minute?

Yes. Thats why they shouldnt do anything. They are voting tomorrow on a rule change. The rule as it stands is to simply go by win %.
Here is a member of the Bengals competition committee's thoughts and I agree with her. Every team should vote it down tomorrow.

Interesting, hadn't heard of a coin flip. That seems odd.

They could just, you know, finish the game, move everything back a week, but then they'd have to settle for just one week of the circle jerk that is media week before the Superb Owl |

Could have just finished the game monday when they played it. There's a fault in every option.
In the one you propose every other playoff team gets an added bye week. They need to just go with the rule that was agreed upon before the season started. |

UPL is looking pretty impressive
5-0-0 with a .925 save% in his last 5
And the teams he’s been up against are no slouches
Boston, Vegas & the Caps are all top10 teams in the league, and the Avs & Detroit are no slouches
I don’t expect him to keep this up exactly
But we might not be needing to worry about goalie so much anymore
I know, small sample size
But he’s 8-3-1 total this year, after an admitted tough first few games
7-1-0 in his last 8
Kid might just be legit |

"Like any multi-player trade, there are lots of names bandied back and forth. Throughout the process, Jason was adamant that Tage be included as part of the deal,” Randy Sexton, assistant GM with the Sabres at the time, told The Athletic Wednesday. |

Yeah, even Armstrong came out after the trade and said Botts stuck to Tage. |

happy that little piece of misinformation is finally put to rest. say what you want about botts, and there's enough to go around, but at least he sought out the right target.
The tools were visible for all to see, but everyone knew they'd need to wait years for them to be shown.

I liked Botts, unfortunately he got handed a pile of sh!t. He could draft. Unfortunately had to make stupid trades to fill areas of the team that were left empty from the prior regime after trading the bulk of are depth for ROR and Kane and that stupid McNabb trade. Unfortunately at the end he didn't seem to have a plan, but that could have come from higher up. |

More scoreboard watching tonight.
Preds-Caps
Isles-Flames
Cats-Wings
The Capitals are on a friggin roll sans the Tage Thompsoning they got at home. The Isles won't beat the Flames in the saddledome. I don't much care who wins so long as there aren't 3 points awarded in Cats-Wings.
Big, big game tomorrow against Kaprizov and company. Boldy is rounding into a solid young player, and - like it or not - they've been on a big heater since they got Reavo for a bucket of pucks (note the Rangers have that area on lock with Trouba). Personally, i thought our win March 4th last season at home against the Wild was among the best we had all year. Back and forth until Kaprizov made it 3-2 in the 3rd and then Jeff Skinner took over for two goals. We still ended up needing a classic Vic ENG as Kaprizov wasn't done scoring.
I gave these tickets to my brother for Christmas, so I'll be yelling at my TV. Thank god though. Ive got the Flyers, Kracken, and Jets all in 4 days. Can't wait!
Call me a greedy bastard, but I want 8 of 8 points. |

Today's sometimes correct trivia calendar:
What defenseman did the Sabres select with the fifth overall pick in the 1972 draft?
The calendar is correct today, making it 4 out 6. Progress and good vibes.
If you can't get this one, you're young and should brush up slightly on team history. OK not to know the draft, but if you don't know who the player is.....do your research. |

Pretty Wild that Minnesota, even with $12.7M in dead cap, is still $3.5M+ under the cap limit this season. |

Might be a bit tougher net year, have like 13 guys signed with 15m or so in cap space. |

Really looking forward to seeing how he plays over the next 4 games. Tough schedule coming up with Winnipeg, Minnesota and Seattle. |
