I literally haven't heard about it until i looked on here. It's not some woke cancel culture mob it's probably a loud group of a few people. People like to project their need to feel victimized/morally outraged onto others (and those people will probably think I'm talking about who they are talking about because they are so deluded)

I mean pretty much everyone who covers the Flyers has written a scathing article on it. As well as plenty of other hockey writers/bloggers/etc... on Twitter. As far as the hockey media community goes, pretty much everyone has ripped him for it.
I don't think it was smart of him and I also don't believe that he really made that decision based on his religious beliefs. But I definitely think that the outrage over it is a little much.
