Gavrikov it’s fine, but I’d think a first rd pick deal is better served to get a RW. Florida is regretting the Chariot trade. Package a second with Jones instead, which I think was brought up. For any rental D really thats the deal I would make

he can eat minutes, there were multiple games this season where he went over 27 minutes, and if we are gonna play until June, we are gonna need that

Nothing to save. I explained why I post the analytics. You and Tommy insinuated Gavrikov was good last night. Better than Blais and Lafreniere. I just explained why that is incorrect. The Rangers literally controlled the entire game when he was on the ice. Does that make him bad for rest year? No. The Rest of his career? No. Was he bad last night? Yes.
- tomburton99

I won't insinuate it --- I'll flat out state it: Gavrikov played well last night. The fact that he is on an AHL level team playing against the Rangers doesn't compute on your charts. Your inability to process what you actually witness on the ice is your problem, but hey, enjoy the silly charts.

I still think Kulikov would be the same type of guy. While not costing a first rder.

Anyone they get will probably be elated to get out of selling situation and getting revitalized

I keep seeing Boeser rumors

So here is where you lose me. You say "he" was bad last night. So if his D partner or the other 3 players are dogging it all game, how can you put that on an individual with a chart? This is where I believe the eye test is better if you are watching an individual player. He could have been busting his ass all night and played well while his partner was out to lunch or the three forwards weren't helping out. I have no dog in this fight, could care less about Gavrikov.

He didn't. Please scroll back

Shot attempts when he was on ice: 8 for CBJ. 11 for NYR

Scoring Chances: 0 for CBJ. 7 for NYR.

Goals: For, 0. Against, 1.

I remember last year when they pulled the Vatrano trade out of absolutely nowhere, wasnt even the faintest of rumors

I dont see the Boeser thing happening, he's got big money for two more years

Last night at 5 on 5 he spent the majority of his time with Boqvist as his D partent. Boqvist also had a bad night but not as bad as Gavrikov.

Team absolutely does have something to do with it.

Yeah, I honestly have no idea cause I wasn't paying attention to Gavrikov. Just my opinion, but I think those individual kind of charts are good for a stretch of games where its a bigger sample size. On a night to night basis I would think certain things might get lost.

And I agree. Like his previous 3 games according to the micro stats, he played really well. His cumulative game score on the year is -0.38. That's bad. But you have to account for that team being terrible and injured. He's playing more minutes than he probably should. Get him on better and I think he'd be better.

But in a vacuum (Last night) he was not good. Not a slight. Just the reality.

Just curious, cause I have no idea where you get that stuff, but what do K'Andre's stats look like? Like the one you posted above of Kreider.

Good. This was before he started putting up offesne recently. When his card updates, it will be even better.

Hasn't had a bad game since New Year's day in Florida.

Wow. Actually thought it might be a little lower on D. I mean hes probably my favorite player now, so im a little biased. The offense makes sense, he been more productive lately.

I dont agree with that, Harpur-Trouba would be too slow a pairing

They should.

What I'd like to see happen is.

Miller-Fox
Lindgren-Schneider
Robertson-Trouba

Idk if Robertson is one of the injured guys on Hartford on not. But Ben Harpur ain't it. Played well last night though.

I would keep lindgren/fox and do miller/schneider

I wouldn't have an issue with Trouba away from Miller as long as it is someone very mobile

the reality is that Trouba is gonna eat a lot of minutes, and a lot of it is gonna look bad because he's a primary penalty killer

but he gives away the puck a lot and who better than k'Andre to help cover when he (frank)s up

Also gotta be a defensive minded d-man. Trouba has become less than ideal in that area as of late.
