As for being a writer for this team you seem to only put up articles when you feel like it or not at all , every other team has way more coverage than the flames it’s pretty disappointing cause when you do put up something it’s usually pretty good. |

Tougher year for work, so it likely seems that way after a higher frequency 21-22. Still approaching piece number 300 within about 485 days.
As for every other team getting more coverage, that’s laughable. Look a little further into that claim. |

Thanks Trevor,
Pelletier deserves another game, he made the most of his little bit of icetime, give him credit. I wouldn’t be suprised to see JP moved into ML’s spot at some point in the game. He’s making Jacob earn it, he’s never just given icetime , you always have to earn it. Sutter treated Dube and Valimaki when he first arrived, he made Ruzicka earn it, nothing different here. The
Sutter being Sutter with the media, he jokes with them all the time. I always get a good chuckle listening to his interviews Let’s face it, if Eric Francis is upset, then Daryl’s probably smiling somewhere.

Gaudreau returning to Calgary is the biggest manufactured non news story of the NHL season by far. |

He’ll get a standing O during his tribute video, but will be booed everytime he touches the puck. Fans are passionate, they’ll be heard.
I wonder what will happen when Gudbranson touches the puck? We should have had Dennis The Menace up so EG would have someone to dance with. |

Good blog Trevor: no insults to other teams even the Oilers. The comment about selecting the Nuge that is good. Who did the flames pick that year? Not sure the individual has ever played in the NHL. Meanwhile the Nuge at rate he is going will end up in the top 5 points for a team that has Gretzky and will soon have McDavid in the 2000 point category for their career. Doesn't Calgary wish they have players like that along with all the Stanley Cup wins like the team to the north. Mrs. Gretzky to you K-man. Around long before there was any inkling of a phenome called McDavid, I was at first game Gretzky played in the Coliseum. |

What? The guy was the best player on the team for 8 years and was on track to being the greatest Flames player of all time yet spurned the team at the last second to take less money to play on the worst team in the league.
In what world is his first game back in Calgary not one of the biggest stories of the year? |

Not the brightest comment, especially on a free hockey sight. I’m sure Trevor is getting filthy rich writing here. |

Who would have thought the game would end with Johnny pulling a Kovalev in OT! |

I am more than happy to read Trevor's blogs.
Big win tonight, for you guys. Perreault is gonna add much need speed and skill to the Flames. Another 10 or so games, he will be playing with your more skilled guys. |

That fight was a good ole rumble. Both guys with the ice bags in the penalty box, Olivier leaking. Looch 2 game fight streak on the go.
Johnny had a good game, he’s always dangerous when he’s out there. Glad they booed him though. |

It’s so nice that Holland is paying part of Lucic salary, that’s very Edmontonian of him.
How James Neal doing?
Hollands a genius. |

Holland is an idiot. But is it worth more to pay Lucic $5.25m to be a slug on the 2nd line or Neal 1.9 to play elsewhere? Both seem pretty idiotic to me. Don't reply to OilDUMB, his takes aren't worth it. |

Nice reaction by Johnny 'regular season' Hockey during the video tribute.
He still can't wait to get out of Calgary...

6 million dollar goalie riding the bench.
Maybe Sutter can praise a different team next press conference.
