while i don't disagree that teams aren't trading for brothers because of how "fun" it seems - didn't one of the Hughes kids get some girl fired for talking sh!t about their brother in a totally different market?

Hughes package starts with Nemec and Mercer (though NJ probably prefers to offer Holtz), Mukhamudullin and a first. NJ has cost controlled excellent prospects that Vancouver needs in the long run, but if NJ *really* wants to unite the Hughes brothers, they'll be paying through the teeth for 4 more years of cost controlled QH. |

Folks need to look into the experience most teams have with brothers. The Sedins and a few others are exceptions. Hockey involves highly competitive personalities. Brothers in a dressing room can be upsetting to the balance of teams.
