It’s almost like they never fully recovered from that game 7 loss. I know I have not. |

He was pretty much responsible for the 3rd goal. I love Pulock but I’m starting to even lose it with him too.
The Barzal-Bo tandem was hopping, the rest of the team really didn’t seem too bothered today which is shocking considering what time of the year it is. I know these are big boys who shouldn’t need motivation but that where your coaches have to step in and provide it.
Two unbelievably poopty losses in a row. |

Are you referring to the Game 7 loss to the Flyers in the 1975 Conference Finals? That was a tough one for sure. |

It really did look offsides. It’s like the team feels even with Bo they are not good enough so why bother or it’s the Bailey infection? - ses111
I don’t know. To not get up for games like these against a team like the Habs is beyond me. I don’t get it when you’re fighting just to have a chance at the last wildcard. The team not standing up for itself multiple occasions this season and last after opposing dirty or questionable hits that led to some pretty significant injuries. Who knows maybe there’s an internal issue with these guys I have no idea? It looks that way when they are playing. |

Pulock is not living up to his contract. The 1st line is good now but Lane better sit Bailey at least. More than a few vets are letting this team down big time. |

I’m a big Pulock fan. I think there’s been periods when he was our best defenseman at different points over the years. With that said it’s tough being a fan of him watching this season play like he just injected himself with smack before he got on the ice. The effort and focus isn’t there for a lot of these guys way too consistently once again. Just like last season. |

Something is going on. I’m not sure if the long term deals are making some players lazy or they just tired of each other since they has not been much of a roster turnover? Maybe Garth drafted soft players? |

Some of the team has checked out whether it wear and tear or something else. Some nights it’s contagious with the rest of the team. |

To be fair, team had issues not being ready to play under Barry as well. Lane may or may not be a good coach, but there seems to be issues beyond coaching. |

I really hope Lou realizes this team isn't making the playoffs. I don't want him to make any desperation moves. |

Wear and tear and a lack of speed is a big factor.

Very important not to make desperation moves. Team seems like a seller unless something drastically changes.

They should be sellers. They will not make the playoffs. |

I don’t disagree. I think Lambert is starting to show signs that he’s out of answers. I don’t blame him but I also don’t think he’s absolved of blame either. With that said I doubt very much Lambert is telling them to go out there and put in a half arsed effort. They’re not the most talented team, I don’t have unrealistic expectations but you can see they just aren’t skating. There’s no excuse for that. |

Lane has to take blame, but this being his first head job, I give him a little more leeway and Lou made the hire. To me this is a roster and lack of speed issue.

These last two losses and the last two years with this team has made me feel old. No wonder I want more young talent and I'm willing to be patient with the young players.

I know you may disagree and I understand why but I don’t think he will. He said he was going to evaluate what the team looked like around the trade deadline to decide what he was going to do. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think he would say that unless he was willing to sell if it’s not looking like we have a legit shot at the playoffs. |

I have no idea what he'll do (none of us do). It's just my concern. |
