I think it turns out that Winnipeg got the best player in the big trade.

It's possible you are right, though I have a very hard time overlooking PLD's attitude in Columbus and how he forced himself out of town. Laine has been the opposite during his time in Columbus.

Which also means I was very happy to see the CBJ beat the Jets again. I hope that steak continues for a long time.

Two now players here.

Laine has a 0.8 PPG in his career

PLD has a 0.7

Roslovic has 0.48

Danny Zhiklin is a stud with Kitchener, steal in the draft for the Jets.

Dubois is driving himself out of Winnipeg to put himself first over the team and go to Montreal. Ahead of his father. Ahead of the room. In a team league and not a star league, could be looked at selfish. I have always liked Dubois since he was a Screaming Eagle climbing up the charts, and was glad we went that route over Puljujarvi when the moment came.

But I think he is a guy that needs a new scenery every few years to reset him, and I wouldn’t take that on a team unless it’s a now team. Montreal isn’t that yet. Winnipeg is close
