He had a negative goals saved above expected last night.

Yes. And I'm saying a big reason for that is that he was forced to try and scramble into position and make saves when the puck should have been 130 feet away from him.

We’re in a good spot with the offense. Clicking very well where we can deal with a bad game or two from Shesty. He made one huge save late with the glove from a prime slot shot, so that may have saved a point in the standings

Vancouver gets credit they busted their asses all game long

Partly, sure. But you (I) also looked at him and more often than not, he makes 1 or 2 of those saves. He didn't play well. He's human it happens.

Good teams win games like that tho. So that’s a positive. One of those games you couldn’t wait to end tho lol just to get it over with getting two pts before something terrible happens
- Slimtj100

So long as we don't have to win too many of those types of games going forward, sure

Hasn’t been a habit tho in this recent run of winning. One or two games they may have squeaked by playing bad

These next two tho will be a test, Alberta trip. Flames could be looking for some revenge 😬and the oilers will be a tough game to win imo

I didn’t see Panarin touch that puck so they must’ve had a different angle to give him credit for it. I feel like Mikkola is the tallest ranger I’ve ever seen god is he a big man

What do we think of Zib Kreider Tarasenko as the
“Tic Tac Dough” line

It's been said here, Im sure, but NYR is so soft on the boards in the D zone. Has to improve.

Strange though, that he pointed at Mikkola right away and sent him to high 5 the bench first.

You're absolutely right. I mean, we're talking about a string of 28 games now in this "hot streak." There's always going to be some off moments in a sample size that large.
And yeah, I expect these next 2 to be dog fights. So glad they are on the weekend for proper viewing!!

I want to see them manhandle Edmonton. Draisaitl and McDavid always seem to destroy them. I know that is typical but they can be stopped.

Idk if he’s in their plans, but I could get down with Dakota Joshua as the 4C. Big and fast like Gauthier. Not sure how many faceoffs he’s taken but he’s over fitty percent. He left an impression with me last night, he was hitting lots of Rangers

Only thing I ever heard at that time was the Hockey Night in Canada theme. I probably thought it was the National Anthem at that age.

all the stuff that goes on before the superbowl starts is annoying, I don't differentiate between the woke stuff and the non woke stuff, it's all (frank)ing annoying, just kick the goddamn ball and get the game going

Two years, $3 mil AAV. Likely takes him completely off the market and raises price for Gavrikov and others.

Well yeah, that kinda stopped when they got Mikkola. I wanted him because I thought he could be had. Once the trade happened, kinda hard to make room for him.

A little concerned with the way they have defended as a team lately if I had to nitpick something. They are raking up points and could see them surpassing NJ but come playoff time that’s not going to cut it. Teams like the Bruins, and Tampa will eat us alive. Need to tighten it up and limit chances as we go on here. I want the cup baby!!
