Their last few GM's have always though goalies and defensemen weren't important ... with predictable results in the playoffs.

We've had a similar problem in Montreal for years with GMs that relied solely on Carey Price to save our bacon while neglecting our centermen position.

Results were that we were just a middle of the pack team for the last 30 years. Not bad enough to get good draft picks and not good enough to be a serious contender.
