nice.

i was scrolling through equipment prices (every once in a while i just get curious, like, "hey, what's a chest protector cost these days"). i don't know how anybody can afford to play anymore!

I bought my daughter a CCM Ribcor Trigger 7 Pro last Thursday. Then I cried.

It doesn't help when companies tell stores that they are not to mark down older stuff.

My dad is looking to get a new chest protector. He's pissed

I've had that done a few years ago ... tell him to relax, there's really nothing to it. Painless and it's nice being to look around without glasses.

Oh he wasn't wearing glasses. He couldn't see at all out of either eye. He's also in a home, and so he needs to be taken to the doctor each time. It's a large PIA for him. The second one that he had last week worked great. The first one he had on the other eye a couple of months ago, still isn't right, so he has to go back.

Never spent anything close to that on myself. She had the Vapor, but not the Hyperlite, which is pretty much the same as the Ribcor. She got the Ribcor because it's 40g lighter, and at her age, it does make a difference at high level hockey.

Ah ok, didn't realize he had already gone through it.
Hopefully, they'll be able to fix the problem.
