Kakko definitely will. Love his defensive awareness and battle level. Still want to see more from Laf, but hes getting there. Would like to see a full season of Laf like he was in the Pens series last year. I really thought that was a turning point and he was going to kill it this year.

In defense of the player you are probably referencing, the situation is nowhere near the same. Schneider is a key piece of our D core and is in no danger of losing his spot. That is not to say I agree with the player who will not be mentioned huffing and puffing and stamping his feet last season. Just that it's very different.

Also, I wonder how long until we get busted for someone like Panarin covering Scheider's lost salary from being sent down.

Kakko has made huge strides this year as has Chytil. Took over half the season (for various reasons) for Laf to take off. He's getting hot now and should continue that in the playoffs.
