I have to say. When I have been in other countries sometimes it is just complete curiosity to try certain foods to see how they compare to what I know back home. Halal/Greek/Turkish food (I know they're not the same but I am lumping them for this purpose) are all banging everywhere. Just different depending on where you are.

We had great Halal wraps for dinner one night because we were in Lucerne and the food there was crazy expensive so we went with a cheap quick option. Lugano was even crazier cost wise. A bowl of pasta for lunch was pushing 30 bucks. Burger King for two people cost us over 35.

Isn't everything in Switzerland crazy expensive? Hence why Europeans get paid more.

All depends on where ya go tbh. But for tourists its really good because there is a ton of free poop. Most museums are free entry. Really good night life as well. The weather isnt nearly as bad as people make out either. Everyone assumes rain but thats more the north. It was sunny and 50+ majority of February
- bonzo11

That was our experience pretty much. Just warmer since it was August/September. We did lots of free stuff like parks/gardens etc. We Also did the London Eye, Aquarium and some other attractions. It was a good time.

It appeared to be so. We checked out a store with watches and clocks etc. There were legit 1 mil plus USD watches on display.

When we went to breakfast there were super cars parked all over the place in Lugano. They were power washing the gum and other crap off the sidewalks every morning.

I felt it would be good to have another Finnish forward to play with Kakko potentially. Puljujärvi may not have been up to that skill level but who knows?

It was one of the reasons I wanted them to draft Raty so much.

No intention of breaking up the kid line but I was thinking if he juggles again, maybe Kane and Laf hook up on a line eventually. Regardless, I do think getting Kane could be an effort to help Lafs career. His idol, maybe he can learn a few things from him. About pressure on a big city type stuff.

I don’t mean cause an uproar, but the Kane addition has a lot of intangibles that has gone completely unnoticed imo.

It’s really just Switzerland is more expensive than anywhere else because it’s isolated itself. Other countries pay better and have the same or lower prices

I think a lot of people have thought about the intangibles. I know people want to be excited but it's hard with the track record these types of moves have from the past. I can't wait to see Kane on the ice in a NYR sweater. I have wanted him here since he was drafted.

I forgot to mention that. They specifically mentioned that while we were on the guided part of the tour. The median income in Switzerland is quite high and it attracts a certain demographic. Median age is low as well compared to the rest of Europe if I recall correctly.
