going to some damn concert with my fiance and 2 friends for some band i've never even heard of. fml

Well I have to say that I am happy that this entire saga is now over for both the team and the fans alike. This has been a HUGE distraction to all and now everyone can finally move forward.

I am left to wonder about a few things though:

1) Why was Kravstov not part of the return to Arizona for the retention? I wrongly assumed that the deal was so one-sided in Vancouvers favor was because they were going to help us retain. Looking back on it --- we literally gave him away for a bag of pucks. Why not just place him on waivers?

2) Why the inclusion of Cooper Zech? What is the connection here? I mean, did Drury at any point say "Hey we're not doing this deal unless you include Zech!"
Just a real head-scratcher there....

A little bit of backstory, the Hawks took Zech in return for Evan Barratt in October. https://www.capfriendly.c...rades/players/cooper-zech Barratt is a Philly area native, so that was likely an accommodation.

So did the Rangers pound the table for Zech, or did the Hawks pound the table for Andy Welinski? RD for LD. Maybe their respective AHL clubs had these respective needs? We can only guess on why AHLers are traded for one another.

Doubtful.
None of us even did or said anything extreme, certainly nothing other than having our own opinions, and there was still a tantrum and meltdown. My patience is done.
