Chuck Fletcher is a terrible GM. We all knew it before he murdered the Flyers.

This being said, since I'm still not over it and cannot forgive Brière for choosing Philly over Montreal when he was in his prime, I hope he also fails miserably.

but I think in Brière's case there was genuine interest from MTL and he chose not to come, I don't think that exact scenario occurred with Saint-Louis.

Saint-louis went with the Rangers and probably never even considered playing with mtl. I don't blame him either, mtl had some crappy teams at that time for years

and Brière did go the habs at the end of his career as well. I get what you're saying but those were still 2 different situations.

I think the general feeling was he used MTL to leverage a better offer, never had the intention of coming to MTL.

Good for him. He got the money.

Glad he did not come to MTL, and wish he had not later on given how dead he was as a player.
