Frost got his ice time cut under 15mins last night, w/ Mario Jr as a linemate (sick pass last night tho).
Meanwhile Tipp is getting 22 mins and a warm back rub of encouragement from Torts on the bench after he turns the puck over leading to the ENG.

He took a penalty, which cost him a shift and then he was skipped on a rotation. Started game on PP2 and one of the power plays saw PP1 in the o-zone the full two minutes. So that's where the ice time drop mostly came from. Skated only a couple fewer shifts than recent norms.
Carson Briere is 23 and already kicked out of another college. He didn’t learn his lesson already.
Time for his dad to let him pay the piper. He can dig himself out of this mess. - StepfordSam
I’d like to know the whole story before making too many judgements. It sure looks awful in the video (at the very least it could have hurt someone coming up the stairs), but do we know for sure what that wheelchair was doing there? In college one of my roommates showed up with a prosthetic leg. We did all kinds of dumb stuff with it, but it was a just a discarded prosthetic that no one was using. The fact that he is 23 and was already kicked out of one college for his behavior doesn’t help here. I wonder if this will affect Danny B’s job? Andy Reid’s kids did a lot of horrible stuff and he’s still coaching Super Bowl teams.
I don't think I'm being hostile. The poster made a very human sentiment of being glad that a person was not in the wheelchair when it was pushed down the steps and he's getting criticized for that. - MJL
Asking people "why is it so difficult for you?" to start a response (that I edited) is definitely being hostile. Shrike perceived some texts on the internet in a different manner. I read the same thing and took it a different way but I can see why he came to his conclusion.

According to the girl who posted the vid:
@juliazukowski
"The chair was left on top of the stairs because she physically had to be carried down to use the restrooms. Which are only located downstairs"
The $1500 chair was apparently busted but they've done a gofundme to replace it and it's way over its goal.
Don't you realize that anyone that does not think as Shrike believes they should think is automatically a bad person? Hence the criticism, with moral superiority, of such an innocuous comment. Unfortunately, this is all too common these days.
That said, how about that goal by Seeler? Right now, he may be the only Flyer player that's actually playing above his contracted value. Not sure I can think of any other players that are. Maybe Tippet and Frost are close. - Letterkenney
Maybe you can get a first round pick for seeler at the draft.
Tippet would probably have twice as many goals if he would just hit the net more often. Gets set up in the high slot by Cates in the 3rd and misses the net; you have to make the goalie make a save there. - jd250
I don't know about twice as many. Tippet's missed shot percentage is in line with the percentages of the top goal scorers in the league. The key to him scoring more goals is generating more shots.

Hey, you're in charge so you get final say. I would disagree but that's not my call. In my opinion, he was being hostile to another poster who was simply saying he was glad that the person who the wheelchair was for, was not in it when it was pushed down the stairs. So they didn't get injured. A position that I will defend and take whatever comes with that, every time.

highly doubtful. Chuck said before the tdl he was looking for overpayment to move seeler. no one over pays for a 7th d man. and as we both pointed out, Free agency has plenty of these guys looking for jobs.
someone else said that schenn is better than seeler. for 50 k more he went for what, a 3rd rounder.

In the pre-game presser where apparently, Tortorella criticized Frost. Tortorella actually criticized Tippet for turning the puck over and not protecting the puck well. Maybe Tippet is going to be traded?

To be fair to jd250 I also believe that Torts will try to run Frost out of town the first chance he gets.
Tippett has taken over as #1 son. Catesy wondering where all the sunshine went.

I don't think there is any doubt that Tortorella doesn't like Frost but there is a history with Tortorella. How his player decisions are often not rational. That doesn't change that what the poster insinuated was said in that pre-game presser wasn't actually said. Tortorella actually criticized Tippet.

You can think anything you want as long as you’re willing to accept the consequences for stating it.
I’m glad Carson Briere only broke a handicapped girls wheelchair in order to seem cool, if he would have done it with her sitting in the chair he would have crossed the line.
Can we discuss the irony of Frost scoring a goal the minute Torts takes him away from Tippett, who he's supposedly "not good enough" to be playing with?

The disparity in some people's opinions of these two forwards who were both born in 1999, play for the same team and often play together is very amusing.
34 points in 62 games (-17) averaging 16:51 per game
31 points in 66 games (-16) averaging 16:01 per game

Well one player is an AHL player and the other isn't.

Wow, the mental gymnastics on display here are truly Olympic level.
Maybe, Special Olympics?
Yeah I went there. Because someone so easily offended might as well be offended by something.
What will be the "consequences" for that comment? By all means let your ego continue to think you matter to me.
