I think that is some of what Joel’s issue is - guys not used to each other -

Familiarity is massive at a time of year the pace excellerates to the point many moves become reactionary and instinctual. Those two things don't happen on the fly, especially for defenceman.

I'm more so mind boggled the team would allow themselves to be in this spot. Keefe was so consumed with rotating 7 defenceman in and out of the lineup that he was paying no mind to having themselves in a spot they're allowing their best and only serviceable goaltender to get shelled with basically no one to relieve him.

I'm particularly surprised they would allow themselves to be in this spot against their upcoming playoff opponent, who's all too eager to roll out his full lineup and hope he can leave with some bulliton board material. I don't know why you give a coach like Cooper that opportunity.

You've left yourself in a spot you're feeding them your 3rd string goalie with a handful of NHL games to his credit, 11 forwards one of which is a defenceman and another literally on his second day in the league.

But also maybe it's just NBD and all legit teams roll into the playoffs on the heels of similar total poop shows and I've just not noticed. 🤷

More Knies!

More Woll!

Those two are going to create a lot of cap room next year.

That was so pathetic - linesmen and refs sending messages to Bunting I guess.

Or you give your lower guys in the line up practice against a team that will have home ice for at least a couple of games.

If possible, I would've preferred if they sit literally every single good player on the roster.

Tampa's entire roster is full of all world female genitalias who are clearly looking to injure someone tonight.

Hmmm, I don't know about that. There's a big psychological side to hockey and a team like Tampa is well in tune with it and looking for that confidence booster to start out at top flight.

But also, would have made more sense then wherever it is this slow burn poop show over the last few weeks has led to tonight.

Gonna need to see another angle because that angle looked like it didn't even touch him. And Hagel is a known flopper.

I think it's a reasonable concern to have. But I respect the idea that there's a fine line between perrenial optimistic fan and total simp and the latter tends to get a little worked up if someone is saying this might not be perfect.

Woll having a great game - love to see it.

Tampa really thinks they can intimidate the Leafs but I don’t think it’s happening this year based on the reactions from the Leafs tonight.

I kinda’ wish Wayne Train was in this game.

Kucherov is such a dirty wiener.

Let’s hope this is how games are called in the playoff series (yes we all know it’s not).

Holy poop. Are we actually gonna get our second 5 on 3 of the season here?

Refs trying to pad fudge the stats and make it look less biased.
