Not me. Didn’t want to have to acknowledge at how small my old Schenn jersey looks now
- Canada Cup

I faced that reality, too

I busted out my old Schenn sweater when the trade happened.

I busted a nut on mine
Edit: me and Gravy and you were on the Schenn train IIRC.

I'd bet against it. Just can't see a guy with 3 pro games forcing a Lafferty out of the playoff lineup.

Injury maybe changes that though.

Esp on one of top 2 lines … nope.

This game that I thought would be a nothing burger has been a real barn burner with a playoff feel to it.

The pressure is all on Tampa here in my opinion. The Leafs with the wacky line up, no Marner, Matthews, Gio & their 3rd string goalie playing have nothing to lose really.

Regardless of the outcome you have to think Toronto leaves this game with some extra confidence and Tampa maybe with a smidge of doubt?

The belief they can bully and intimidate the Leafs into submission just didn’t happen.

I haven't been too impressed with Lafferty while understanding he can play physical.

Maybe Knies at home and Lafferty on the road?

Pittsburgh down 3-1 to Chicago with 9 minutes left.

Looking like they're done.

Yep, you're correct.

Us 4 are (frank)ing smarties.

Woll is having a hell of a game. Really didn't have much faith in him until his last 3 games. I like him a lot. Hope he can find consistency. Be great to have a home grown goalie.

Time to yeet Ming Vase Murray and save Cap. Go with Sammy/Woll next year.

Well, a win would be a win. And not backing down physically is a positive, but they are outshooting the Leafs 2-1.

Having Woll and Sammy standing on their heads the last 2 games is welcome too!

It's not a knock on Knies at all because I like everything I see. But I'm avoiding inexperience in the playoffs if I'm coaching this team as much as possible.

Sure they got outshot but who GAS? They won!

Lol

But seriously The line up from Tampa was the best they have. The Leafs had a dman playing wing who had never played wing.

Tampa with 8 power plays also which impacts shots.

What do the shots on net look like if it’s best on best? Likely a lot closer I would think.

Woll was unbelievable.

Solid esp w/o some big pieces.

Would like to see less than 49 SA though - that’s a heavy workload -

Esp when you only generate 24 yourself…

I always liked Schenn, so I was for sure biased when we got him.

But I also thought that Dubas bringing him in would also result in Holl getting gone. Because that makes perfect sense. Instantly making the team better.

I'd like to see the dainty TBL not get 386 power plays, might help with the shot total.
