He can't read the ball. At all. Today, for no reason, he threw up a stop sign to Varsho (who probably would've scored without a throw even), and then after he stopped (which forced him to hit the brakes hard), waived him to go home. But he couldn't anymore. Game was close at that point and the run was needed.
The Jays players routinely ignore him anyways. Some people even tried to give Bo poop last week for running through his stop sign (even though he scored with ease). - GreatGigInTheSky
First off Varsho gets cut down at the plate if the LF didn’t drop the ball and when he did drop the ball is when Rivera changed the sign but Varsho had already stopped.
Secondly “some people” was me. Players shouldn’t get to just choose what coaches to listen to and what coaches not to listen to. I can’t think of one sport where that is acceptable and not seen as a player who is a
Problem or difficult can you ? Bo has shown a selfish side from time to time and that was an instance where it was front and centre. He was safe so nobody cares but had he been thrown out would you be scolding him for running through the stop sign or no?
Riveria’s ability to coach 3rd is the teams decision not the players. Who gets to go to work and just ignore some bosses because they think they know better? Maybe the Jays have an agreement that base coaches who are saying stop / go are merely suggestions and players get to choose - it would be dumb to do that in my
Opinion but who knows now a days |

Good news - final game means nothing to the Rangers, so hopefully we can have a light scrimmage, do a little shopping on 5th Avenue, and come home healthy. |

nonsense, I have it on good authority that those fans went to the Jack Edwards School of Hockey Knowledge - meaning that they actually know less than someone who's never watch a single hockey game before |

I wasn't talking about you, or anyone on here, when I said some people. I actually completely forgot that we talked about it on here. I was talking about people on Twitter. My bad if it felt like I was going at you with that.
Bo can absolutely be selfish, I won't even try to deny that. I also think the look of his face makes him just seem more self absorbed.
I have absolutely no problem with players ignoring that man, though. Because I think they're legit running a 100% rate when they do. I've not see a single guy get thrown out while running through a stop sign from him in the past few years.
Bolded- I honestly wouldn't hate that. I feel like that could also work as a feint to the fielders. |

5 each for fighting? The Ross Colton soccer faking was over the top. Good game by Woll and Nylander, despite brutal officiating. Perry flailing away at Bunting after the linesmen were involved took a special level of incompetence for the zebras to overlook. |

I didn’t realize how tough schenn was. He pumped Marion pretty good last night. I think he has till be a mainstay in the lineup with that type of game. Plus he clears the net really well. |

It was from last week when we lost power and the entire city shutdown...but the camera at Baseline and Merivale caught me sliding through at 7:36am with nobody on the (frank)ing road as it went red because if I stopped, I would be in the middle of the road and not able to start again. He through up the stop sign cause he thought the outfielder had the ball, but then the outfielder bobbled it so tried to send varsho. But by then varsho had already thrown on the brakes.
