They're both the greatest for about 15 minutes when you're in high school.

Did any of you guys get the poutine hot dog or any of that stuff at the Jays game? That's a reason why I might go to a game. Grab one of those and then catch a nap in the stands.

Not really. It was insanely busy. With all of the new inclusions - and like a small little band playing, and new bars and a new "diverse" food place, and stairs/escalators all smushed into that centre field area, there's less corridor space available and more people there than ever. It was really unpleasant to try and maneuver through. I went into that mosh pit once, and then extricated myself as quickly as I entered.

Me and a few buddy's are planning on going either end of the month or mid May. Hoping it'll die down a bit in those areas by then, but I doubt it.

Not a fan of U2. Extremely overrated....kinda like England having the best music.

They got Floyd. Automatically puts them at #1.

Yeah, U2 sucks. I did like one of their videos, though. Where the guy fails a million times to kick a field goal. Always made me laugh.

I'm going to the game next Sunday - I told my cheap ass buddies we are buying actual seats because they all wanted to buy the $20 "Outfield District" ticket which allows you to go into all the new areas & the West Jet flight deck.

Of all these areas very few have actual seats (the new "bleachers" do but they looked jammed last night) and I am not interested is ending up standing 3 deep and not be able to see the game or even worse to be standing at a bar inside the stadium watching the game on TV. Why would I pay $20 to do that vs just watch it at home or at a bar I can walk into for free?

I mean for $43 we got seats 3 rows up in the 200's beside the West Jet Flight deck - we can go look at the new areas and see how they are and wander back to our actual seats if they are stupid busy.

I think the $20 ticket on a busy game day / weekend are like general admission / pit seats at a concert. You have to be some of the first in the door and run to secure your spot and then not dare leave - I'll pass on that action just to save $20. lol

Love The Stones

Here in the livingroom we have an actual concert poster from 69’ and an actual movie poster from 70’ about that crazy show in California where the crowd went crazy and the Hells Angels “security” have been accused for beating people.

Yup, I’m a bassist who loves Richards’ approach as a guitarist. That guy can play fancy when needed but he’s more about groove and meshing well with bandmates… backs completely off regularly for instance, that’s a huge thing for guitarists in my eyes since so many of them want songs to roll around what they’re doing on the guitar.

I don't understand how England can produce the best music and Ireland foists such utter garbage on the world as The Cranberries and U2.

Go Leafs Go

U2 were franking amazing in the 1980s, but their music hasn't aged well. It just feels too cheesy today.

Oddly enough, I don't much like the Clash anymore, and they were arguably my favourite band growing up.

It’s not that their music didn’t age well, it simply didn’t age as you did.

Musical desires should change as you grow older or it’s a sign you are not truly growing as a person.

I watched the game last night at a neighbour's backyard bar, complete with a huge-arse TV.

1 minute to get there.

Perfect view of the game.

Good commentary.

Cold beer at my fingertips.

No lines for the washroom.

Dogs welcome.

1 minute to get home.

I'm in no hurry to get down to a game.

Remember when he was going to become a UFA and he desperately wanted to sign in Toronto with Subban and we told him to frank off and forced him to re-sign in Tampa?

Ha ha ha ha ha, sucks to be you, Loserkos.
