I'm a beer league hack goalie and I'd play in a heartbeat even if I got lit up like a Christmas tree for 20 goals. Once in a lifetime opportunity.

Hell I was pumped to get to play against Marcel Dionne and some other retired pros and DID get lit up like a Christmas tree!

Side note re: playoff format suggestion.

The other goalie when I played in this all star / celebrity game was a young OHL drafted kid. He and I switched half way through the game - we each gave up 3 goals to Dionne.

He was as round as he was tall at this point but his shot was so effortless, it looked like he was exerting as much effort as one would need to flick a fly away but before you knew it the puck was past you.

I managed to save one off the bicep area - bruise was huge and deep and lasted like 3 weeks! It was the bruise I am the most proud of in my history of bruises. lol
