All that bluster about a good start, knowing they can be better, all for nothing. Bottom 6 can barely keep up, can't establish a forecheck, and Seattle is skating all over them like you'd think they swapped jerseys. This really is a must win game if this kind of uninspired play will continue all series.

No traffic in front of the net, no clean passes, can't establish a cycle or forecheck, and Grubauer might as well set up a reclining chair because they aren't even remotely making anything difficult for him. Maybe one if they were lucky. Glad we won last year, cause if we didn't and had this for this year, oh boy... Hard to be mad right now, but if they go down 0-2 going back to Seattle, I am gonna say we are out in round 1

Maybe that's what they needed. The Kraken figured they could skate with them, they could out work them, and finally playoff Avalanche showed up and paid notice that it wasn't so. I was pretty sold on losing at least one in Seattle but now... maybe not so much.
