Carolina-Islanders
My original pick: Carolina in 6
Now: Isles in 7
The Canes are getting killed with injuries, and the isles have hung with them way more than I thought they could…and Sorokin has yet to be Sorokin….The Isles HAVE to win tonight. For sure. But I have seen Islanders home playoff games before. The place is going to be awesome. There are some old experience Devils players on the Islanders who will help lead the way and keep them from getting frazzled
Canes are up 2-0 and Sorokin has posted a significantly better sv% in those two games than he averaged for the season.
Game 2 was more or less a coin flip but Game 1 wasn't nearly as close as the score made it seem.
all of which is to say "You now think it's MORE likely that the Isles will win 4 of the next 5 games than the Canes will win 2 of the next 4?"

Of all your whimsical series prediction changes, changing your pick on Carolina makes the least sense. The brain dead criticisms of Sorokin are insane to me. He's the #1 reason the Islanders are in the postseason and he's played well so far. If you need your goalie to steal every series, the skaters are not a playoff lineup.
Even if the Isles win two in NY they must win a game in Carolina I do not think they are capable of doing that Not enough talent and any team from NY sucks

Lots of people are going to die. I don't think anyone predicted these playoffs would go the direction it has. The bookies are gunna be sending out hit men left and right collecting debts unpaid... Very entertaining first round
