That said. Would love to see Bo come in around 4.4 for 4 years. Newhook for 2.0 around 3 years. Bo is great with great med risk and Newhook seems to be an improved Jost with the same development speed.

Depending on how Olausson looks the real moves for Captain Joe and the suits may need to be a long hard look at the Developmental Chain and Scouting Team and figure out why we’re looking at swings and misses on guys like Kaut, Olausson (possibly), Newhook, Jost, etc. and where the errors lie (draft or post draft).

No sense in saving all these 1st’s if they become slow developing 30-35 point guys ya can’t rely on in big moments.

Not a lot on the UFA market up front this year and anything out there is likely to be way overpriced at a time this team needs some value buys.

Maybe if Crosby were only open to Colorado. It's not necessarily bad value so much as not really useful. Girard and Newhook need to be flipped for more futures. Crosby at 50% retained needs to bring back a few more prospects and 1sts than NHL players. Now if Newhook and Girard can be flipped again then great.
