Monahan had 5 seasons with more than 50pts, including an 82 pts season in 2019. Both have suffered from injuries often the past few years.

Unless the Caps are willing to pay a big price to move him, you don't touch him, same with Monahan.

i'm like 45 minutes from there. they found the remains of the driver of the burnt truck this morning. he must've either got knocked out in the rollover or the truck just went up so fast (it was a fuel tanker apparently) that he burned to death. what a way to go.

the driver? there was a picture (you know, a previous one, not a charred up dude). he was an american guy. apparently he was an experienced driver but he failed to negotiate a turn and rolled the truck on its side right under that section of 95.

I would argue that he is a center playing left wing which makes him the perfect complement to Suzuki and Caufield. There would be no point to get him for the 2nd line C as I am too pleased with Dach development in the 2nd half. As for his salary request, I would say it’s typical strategy from a good players’ agent (Brisson): asking more to get the targeted price tag which should be 8M$/season long-term.
