Well he was great under the first coach, who was terrible. Not sure how much you wanted Panarin do than play at an MVP as David Quinn did this:

Their entire goaltending situation was so strange. Between Lehner's personal problems, Brossoit injury, Thompson Injury, Hill AHL stint and a backup, Quick trade. I might be missing 1 or 2 guys too.

Im not talking about regular season, Im talking about playoffs. The majority of his playoff points with the Rangers were secondary assists on the PP. He hasnt driven 5v5 play and his defense and turnovers were horrendous. He is on the ice for the majority if not all of the PP time so he will pick up those garbage points easily.
