this is all well and good, but including the playoffs, Lafreniere had two goals in his last 25 games this past season

the year before he got stronger in the last month going into playoffs, and was a significant factor for much of the playoff run, even if the pucks didn't go in a lot

I mean, I can't even remember him in the Devils series, that's the worrisome part for me

but we need to hang onto the hope it was Gallant

It's not like it should be all puppy dogs and roses. My point was just that there's a LOT of space to define players in between Star and Bust. And a lot of time left for him to solidify into a good player.

Agreed... LAF was a beast last playoffs (the 2021/022 season). I was expecting the same. LAF crapped the bed, along with many others this last playoff season and I'm very optimistic in this coaching change that it will be the catalyst to him taking the next step.

I think once we know official cap number more moves will start coming in

I know Arizona could use more defensive prospects, but next year will have more to choose from in the 1st round. I don't think Arizona gets 2 this year.
