How can anyone believe that nonsense? They have two of their core players going into the last year of their contracts, unsigned. They've already lost Schenn and O'Reilly to Nashville. Accari is still not signed. Bunting is gone. So how does this improve the team? It makes them weaker, as of right now. They still have the millstone Murray around their necks and they're slow off the mark in free agency. What could go wrong that some AHL'ers can't fix? Treliving = Tire Fire!

It's definitely an issue that's hard to solve. They could do a Matthews and have their residency set up in a U.S. state and be paid in signing bonus with a minimum base salary. If this doesn't get figured out, we'll never see another Cup winner from Canada. Bloody communists in Ottawa. |
