Today @ 1:20 PM ET
I'll throw in the medical staff, scouting staff, data analysts, equipment managers and player development staff. Hell, I'll even pay for their bus ride to Chicago. |

If you are chicago would you accept Mathews and Marner from the Leafs for Bedard
This would get Bedard into Canada and remove the curse of Toronto from Mathews |

Marner might be a Selke nom, but he isn't a defenseman like Federov in a pinch yet. You might be thinking of Rielly. |

I would trade every single player on the NHL roster and it wouldn't be enough. |

Wouldn't give the Oilers' second best forward for him, let alone best and a dman to boot. |

Being a Chicago fan, I would consider that offer. While Bedard is expected to be very good, there are no guarantees. Plus as amazing as Mcdavid is, he is still without a cup. Takes a team to win it. |

Doesn't matter what your answer is because you wouldn't follow through on your word anyway |

YES!
I love what Crosby and Letang have done for the penguins...
But given their ages, if we were given the opportunity to make that deal (and obviously ignoring the no movement clauses) we would jump at that.
And if no movement clauses still in play, then I'd obviously trade Guentzel and Petterson for Bedard... I'd even throw in a draft pick to get that done |

I'd rather have both Matthews and Marner combined than Bedard. With that being said, Matthews has 1 year left and Marner has 2 years left on their contracts. Even with those players, Hawks are not in a position to win now or in the next few years and their is no guarantee that they will resign. Unless both players had long term contract extensions ironed out prior to the trade, I wouldn't do it. Stick to the rebuild.
Neither player would waive their NMC to get their but kicked every night in Chicago anyway |

You are correct Mathews and Marner are already proven but Bedard is not He is not the physical specimen that Mathews is Can you imagine Bedard in Toronto and McDavid in Edm The hype would be unbelievable And Chicago would be instantly much better with the pieces that they added I would really think about doing it if I were both teams WIN WIN as far as I am concerned |
