We won’t have to worry, because I honestly don’t thing Michkov will ever be able to play for the Flyers. - jd250

Frost for a smaller player, is quite competitive in puck battles. - MJL
Throws his body around a lot and blocks quite a few shots too. |

His groundwork is getting even weaker. Yesterday he had Yamamoto to Pittsburgh as an E3 but took it down after the comments reminded him that he already signed with Seattle. - Sinisalo4vr
I fail to see why he even bothers to drum up these rumors. No one comes here for rumors. The place is s collection of blogs, which are used as a launching pad for chit-chat. Why pretend otherwise? |

Must have the Contra code with the number of hills he's died on. |

Bill and occasional posters comments are the only reasons to come to this website.
Anyways, how do folks feel about Mete? |

He can play both spots but he has a higher upside at wing in my opinion. The Flyers should not be putting team need ahead of what is best for a young player individually. - MJL
You said the flyers should not think of the team first and instead think of player first....hmmmmm thats a different outlook . Cates is 24, its not like he is a 19yr old rookie.

Every statement you make on Frost is irrational and uninformed. By the way, an NHL season is 82 games. Half a season would be 41 games. He led the team in scoring the final 56 games. If player you like had done that, your bias of it was a weaker team wouldn't be there. Frost for a smaller player, is quite competitive in puck battles. - MJL I have nothing personal against Frost and I would want nothing more than for him to succeed, but I'm very skeptical. He played against a bunch of teams that didn't bring their A game against the Flyers. You keep saying that he does well in puck battles and I have yet to see that. I think he would get mauled by the more physical teams in games that really count. Hope I'm wrong.

Do you have any factual information to support that a bunch of teams didn't bring their A game against the Flyers? Do you realize how silly of a argument that is?
I know that you've failed to see that. I've read your posts. Doesn't change the reality.

Time will tell which one of us is correct in our evaluation of Frost. He's 24 now, so it's time to put up or shut up for him. I'll be very surprised if he ends up being an everyday 2nd line center on a competitive team. |

Actually, I have been right more often if you look at his career as a whole cause he has played way more soft games than competitive games thus far in his career. Being the leading scorer for 56 games on a bad team does not establish anything yet. Thanks!

I like his game as a 3rd or 4th line player. He would fit into a spot on a good team and play an important role as a defensive center/winger that can also put up some points.

How can you possibly know that? Did Cates play his games against a different opponent than Frost did? You dismissed Frost's success as a player due to playing teams that didn't play their A game and he couldn't establish anything playing on a bad team. |

How will the RFA's playout?
York - 3 x $3.33M
Frost - 3 x $2.33M
Cates - 2 x 1.8M |

You asked me what I thought of Cates. That's what I think. He acquitted himself well all year and I think he will succeed in that role at the NHL level. I could be wrong on both of them, but then again I could be right on both of them. |
