People say I’m full of it, before they change the noun. |

I wonder what happens if they were 10-2? - mohel
Then he probably would have just received the two-week suspension and kept his job. |

When you go 3-9 and then 1-11 over the past two seasons - your program better not have ANY controversy… or else you’re getting the axe. - Chief4Feathers
Yeah man I agree it was inevitable for him. Not with all the backlash |

Seems KD believes that's a possibility; he's not been shy about dumping guys he doesn't see as part of the future. Kid's only 23 and has shown flashes. - mohel
He looked good towards the end of the year. I know it was garbage time but it looks like he's moving the needle forward |

LR seems to like Kurashev too, unless he felt he just had no other options. First two yrs he averaged in the 12:00 minute range, last yr LR gave him over 17:00 game. Big jump and you need those kinda minutes to breakout. |

Be interesting if he should get some playing time with Bedard. |

No he is who he is. Now LR needs to find out if better suited at center or wing and go from there. - Scott1977
So you don’t think younger players can improve? |

IMO with Bedard will be Hall and either T. Johnson or Raddysh to start the year. Then you have Perry and Foligno who could play the right side. I think they will keep Reichel and Bedard on separate lines.
If Hall is injured, maybe Kurashev will play on LW with Bedard.

Here is a question for the board, who plays point on PP 2 replacing C. Jones? Phillips? Kaiser? Zaitsev? |

I don’t see Kurashev as much more than a third line winger. I was more thinking a shift here or there and possibly some powerplay time. |

According to Daily Hockey Dose, Patrick Kane is in negotiations with the Dallas Stars on a multi-year contract but they will have to move a player to fit him in. |

Wasn’t Kurashev, AA, Reichel a thing after the TDL before Kurashev got shut down for the season?

I think all three get an opportunity but I see Kaiser eventually winning it. I like his poise although I don’t know who has the best on ice vision of the three? |

Hopefully not next season. No need to rush him. We’ve seen that movie before, and it seldom turned out well. |

Or does KD sign Dumba to a one year deal ((TDL fodder) put Zaitsev on waivers and bury him in the A (like Ottawa did last year) |

Is that a rumour going around?
I know some want to see another season of tanking but I saw what continuous tanking did to the culture in Edmonton. I’d like to see some progression next season but without signing older guys or journeymen to long term deals. |

Bruins sign Mitchell to a one year $775K deal.
And Kurashev's arbitration hearing scheduled for July 20. |

There is no reason to tank anymore. They got the biggest draft prize of the decade, and even if they progress significantly points-wise this year, they are still likely to pick top 10 again next June. Time to start moving incrementally forward. |

His TOI jumped but his points did not. So his points per 60 minutes actually dropped off significantly. I see him as a 3rd liner for life. Not top 6. |
